Our Aims

The Aims of the Lord Byng Symphony Orchestra are:

To provide our students with the opportunity of playing incredible symphonic repertoire, as composed by the masters themselves (not simplified arrangements)
To give our top students a chance to play a concerto with a symphony orchestra. We will play a concerto at each of our concerts.
To interact with the community and provide young professionals a chance to work with a symphony orchestra.
To create a wonderful opportunity for the community to attend a fine concert at a low price
To form a stronger connection with the elementary schools in Vancouver through outreach concerts and clinics
